VoIP caller ID changes - November 1, 2019
On Friday, November 1st 2019, new CRTC regulation will come into effect that require the caller ID for all calls to display a legitimate number. To be compliant with this regulation, all calls originating from MUN phones must now display a legitimate ˜864™ number. This will result in calls that were previously displaying non-MUN numbers, such as ˜0000000™, to now be displayed as ˜864-8000™, MUN™s main switchboard number.
