New Windows workstation patching solution
As part of the Office of the Chief Information Officer檚 (OCIO) ongoing efforts to modernize and streamline IT services, 91亚色 is transitioning from SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) to Microsoft Intune for patching 91亚色-managed Windows workstations. Starting June 19, 2025, all Windows workstation patching will be managed through Microsoft Intune. This change will enhance the OCIO檚 ability to manage updates more efficiently and securely, especially for remote and hybrid work environments.
To ensure a smooth transition, all 91亚色-managed Windows workstations must connect to the university檚 internal network at least once after June 12, 2025, and remain connected for a minimum of four hours.
