Health Care Foundation
The Health Care Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting NL Health Services by raising funds for patient care, medical research, and education. Our hospital gift shop "The Shop" plays a vital role in this mission, providing a wide range of products to hospital visitors while supporting our charitable initiatives.
Typical Volunteer Duties: As a volunteer at the gift shop, you檒l be a key part of our team. You will be helping to provide a positive in-store experience for visitors, patients, and staff. Your contribution will directly support the foundation檚 efforts to improve healthcare services and patient comfort.
Responsibilities:
倐倐Assist customers in the store and provide excellent customer service.
倐倐Help keep the gift shop organized and well stocked.
倐倐Promote the foundation檚 mission and encourage donations.
倐倐Maintain a tidy and welcoming environment.
Commitment: Ideally volunteers would be available for at least one 2-3 hour shift a week. With at least a 6-month commitment. We aim to have a flexible schedule that works with the volunteer's schedule.

Requirements:
倐倐Friendly and approachable with a passion for supporting a great cause.|
倐倐Comfortable interacting with hospital visitors and staff.
倐倐Ability to commit to a few hours per week (flexible schedule).
倐倐Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
倐倐NL Health Services requires onboarding for all volunteers, overseen by a Volunteer Resources Coordinator.
