Mapping a network drive in Windows

  1. Open 淔ile explorer by searching for it in the search bar on Windows or clicking the icon in your task bar.
    or
  2.  Once in File Explorer, right click on 淭his PC then click 淢ap network drive from the drop down list.
  3. A new window will open. From the 淒rive drop down, you can select the desired drive letter you would like for the share or you can leave it as the default. From the 淔older drop down, type in the server name and share name. Ex: \\servername\sharename

  4. The 2 check boxes are usually fine by default
  5. Click 淔inish once everything is entered correctly and the share will open up.
