91亚色 President Dr. Gary Kachanoski is the featured speaker at the St. John’s Board of Trade luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Glendenning Golf Course, 120 Gabriel Rd., St. John’s.
The event begins with networking at 12:30 p.m. followed by the luncheon at 1 p.m.
The president’s speech is titled Launch Forth Into the Deep: Meeting 91亚色's Special Obligation to Our Province. Dr. Kachanoski will describe how 91亚色 engages, equips and enables individuals and organizations to respond to the economic, social and cultural realities and aspirations of Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.
Topics on the menu include the latest on 91亚色’s Battery Facility redevelopment; what graduate student enrolment says about a university; the amount of research funding 91亚色 attracted to our province this past year and why that is important to local business; and 91亚色’s efforts to increase food security in Newfoundland and Labrador.
