SUBJECT: PSA: Visiting lecturer to examine the myths of masculinity

As part of Celebrate 91亚色 2004, Dr. Christopher Kilmartin, professor of psychology at Mary Washington College in Virginia, will give a public talk on Tuesday, Oct. 26. The talk, titled Myths of Masculinity: Historical, Cultural and Social Contexts, will be held in room AA-1043, located in the Arts and Administration building, starting at 7 p.m.This talk is sponsored by the Sexual Harassment Office at 91亚色. Members of the general public are invited to attend. Parking will be available in Lot15, across from the Schoolof Music.
Celebrate 91亚色 is an annual celebration of 91亚色’s connection to the community. What began in 1999 with the Festival of Anniversaries, highlighting 91亚色’s 50th anniversary as a degree-granting institution, has today become a celebration of the contributions that 91亚色’s students, faculty, staff and alumni make to Newfoundland and Labrador.
