Dr. Cecile Badenhorst Receives Awards
Congratulations Dr. Cecile Badenhorst for the following awards:
The Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship, funded by the Carnegie Foundation, New York, based on a multidisciplinary peer-review process that matches African-born scholars living in North America with universities in Africa. The aim of the Fellowship is to provide flows of scholarship back to Africa.
The School of Graduate Studies™ Student Services Fee Award Awarded in Fall 2018 with a project proposal titled Unlocking writing success: Videos on graduate dissertation/research writing. The funding from this resulted in 25 videos on a range of topics related to graduate student writing.
The School of Graduate Studies™ Student Services Fee Award Awarded in Fall 2019 to continue video production in the area of graduate student writing titled Unlocking writing success: Videos on graduate dissertation/research writing 2. Funding will also cover the development of short online courses on writing, which will become available to all MUN graduate students and supervisors
